ProMach Pharma Showcases Solid Dose Packaging Line at Pack Expo

COVINGTON, K.Y., SEPTEMBER 22, 2026 –ProMach’s Pharma business line will showcase an oral solid dose packaging line at Pack Expo booth
S-3852. Bringing together technologies from NJM, Shuttleworth, WLS and Serpa, the line counts tablets into bottles, caps and labels the bottles, loads them into cartons and then case packs and palletizes. By taking responsibility for the complete line, ProMach Pharma gives manufacturers and contract packers one partner and point of contact for the entire packaging operation, simplifying procurement, integration and support.

ProMach Pharma focuses on packaging lines that handle liquids, powders and solid doses in formats including vials, syringes, bottles and blister packs, delivering systems for smaller-scale operations, high-speed production and highly customized applications. Depending on the project scope, the company manages pre-engineering, line design, controls integration, factory acceptance testing, installation, site acceptance testing, startup and training.
The ProMach Pharma line on exhibit at Pack Expo represents one of the most common packaging configurations for oral solid dose
pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals. Each machine will demonstrate its specific stage of the packaging process using samples prepared at preceding steps.
The line begins with NJM’s CFE tablet counter, which integrates NJM bottle handling and controls with Cremer counting technology. This compact, economical system fills a wide variety of coated and uncoated tablets, capsules and softgels into plastic or glass bottles with 100% counting accuracy.
Next, NJM’s beltorque® capper applies closures at speeds up to 250 bottles per minute. The capper combines precise torque control with gentle container handling to support consistent closure application without damaging bottles or caps.
Shuttleworth’s new RallyTrak™ Rx accumulation table provides buffering between packaging machines operating at different speeds. Its plastic chain surface creates low-pressure accumulation while maintaining container orientation, allowing bottles to circulate until downstream equipment is ready to receive them. RallyTrak Rx expands ProMach Pharma's in-house capabilities for product transport and accumulation.
WLS’ RL-420 rotary labeler applies pressure-sensitive labels to bottles and more. Designed for accurate, repeatable label placement, the RL-420 supports integration with serialization, coding and track-and-trace technologies to help pharmaceutical and nutraceutical manufacturers meet application and regulatory requirements.
Serpa’s P100 horizontal cartoner loads the bottles and accompanying inserts into cartons. This compact system reaches speeds up to 330 cartons per minute and features a balcony design that provides access to drive components from one side of the machine. Its fall-through construction supports sanitary operation and pharmaceutical validation requirements.
A new Serpa combination case packer and palletizer completes the line, packing cartoned bottles into cases and palletizing them for shipment within a single unit.
